1 large room opening onto patio/balcony and private garden with generous views. Complete with en-suite bathroom with shower facilities, king-size bed, sleeper couch, air-conditioning, satellite television, large wardrobe, hairdryer, mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities and personal electronic safe. This room can be annexed to a superior room to make a family room with one secure door.

Location & Attractions


The picturesque town of Gordon’s Bay is just a 2 minute drive from Blue Horizon Guest House. Absorb all the sounds and sights of this quaint seaside village as you stroll along the promenade, acquaint yourself with the various curio shops and enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants or outdoor cafés. Centrally located, Gordon’s Bay is ideal for the traveler wishing to explore the Western Cape, or simply de-stress.

Cape Town is a 45 minute drive away, where you can either hike your way to the top of Table Mountain or take a more leisurely ride up in a cable car. Visit the V&A Waterfront if you want to do a little shopping, from crafts to designer wear. A 20 minute drive will take you in to the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands, where you can savour the various selections that South Africa is famous for.

Perhaps you'd like to head out to the ocean - sail, fish, scuba dive, jet-ski and for those with a truly adventurous spirit, Gordon's Bay even offers Shark Cage diving. Keen on a little whale spotting, then stay with us anytime between September and October to witness the Southern Right whales as they visit our coastline to nurture their young. Take the spectacular coastal route to Hermanus and stop off at Betty’s Bay for a visit with the penguins.

DIRECTIONS:

From Cape Town International Airport
N2 from Cape Town Airport in the direction of Somerset West (approx. 30 km) and turn right at the Gordon's Bay / Kleinmond Exit. Follow Sir Lowry's Pass Road (approx. 3.5 km) and just before the T-junction (going to Rooi Els / Strand), turn left into Boundary Road (Listed under 'Grens Weg' on the Western Cape Map). Continue straight up Boundary Road to the top, Cocoa coloured building on the right at number 56.
