Bay Views is located in the small town of Muizenberg which is well positioned on the warm shores of the False Bay coastline. Bay Views has endless panoramic views of the whole of the Bay and surrounding mountains.

Accommodation


Bay Views is a second floor unit and is within a secure accessed controlled complex which has close entry point to Muizenberg beach. The unit is fully equipped and has 3 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom with the main bedroom on-suite. Bay Views accommodates 6 people comfortably. There is 1 full bathroom with the main-en-suite having a shower.

The living room, which has a sliding door leading onto a balcony, and kitchen are open plan giving you a comfortable family area where you can dine and watch TV. Whale sightings are excellent from the unit during the Cape's "whale season", which is normally between June and October.

Muizenberg


Muizenberg is the starting point of the South Peninsula experience. You can take a leisurely drive from Muizenberg into the village of St James followed by the quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay, the town of Fish Hoek and on into the home of the SA Navy, Simon’s Town, where the protected penguin colony of Boulders can be enjoyed. The world famous Cape Point and Nature Reserve would be the destination of this False Bay drive. These towns offer ample historic interest with superb restaurants, coffee shops and unique shopping experiences.

On the other hand, Muizenberg links you up with the vibrant city of Cape Town, with the formidable Table Mountain over looking Table Bay with the infamous Robben Island in the distance. In the opposite direction, the road from Muizenberg leads you to the world renowned vineyards of the Cape.

Muizenberg has a fantastic and very popular beach (30km long). It offers excellent surfing (kitesurfing and paddling), swimming and endless walks along it's picturesque shore line.

DIRECTIONS:

via the N1
Coming over the N1 from the direction Paarl you pass Century City on the right. The next exit is the M5 and you go off here, following the M5 south in the direction of Muizenberg. Stay on the M5 till the end, where you will come to a traffic circle (Sunrise Circle). Take the first filter left at the circle and then the first road left. The entrance to Villa D’Algarve is the first set of gates on your right-hand side.

via the N2 (from Somerset West)
On the N2 you go in the direction of Cape Town till about 5 km past Somerset West. There you take the turnoff R310 (Baden Powell Road). From the off-ramp you turn left towards Muizenberg. You follow this road along the coast till you come to a traffic circle. Take the first filter left off the circle and continue for +- 200m (Villa D’Algarve is on your right) where you will turn right at the first road. The entrance to Villa D’Algarve is the first set of gates on your right-hand side.

via the M3 and M4
Follow the M3 till the end of the freeway and turn left. At the next T turn right into Main Rd. You are now on the M4 (heading for Cape Point). Follow this road into the village of Muizenberg. After passing "Terry's" on your left, you will come to a robot with the parking area of the Shoprite Shopping Centre on the left. Turn left at this robot into Atlantic Road. Follow this road (it makes a left and a right turn) and you will pass over a lagoon. Keep going straight taking the second filter left off at the traffic circle (Sunrise Circle). Turn left at the first road left. The entrance to Villa D’Algarve is the first set of gates on your right-hand side.

via the M5: On the M5 (South)
You follow the road which becomes Prince George Drive (M5) until the end, where you come to a traffic circle (Sunrise Circle). Take the first filter left at the circle and then turn left at the first road on your left. The entrance to Villa D’Algarve is the first set of gates on your right-hand side.

from Cape Point and Fish Hoek
After you enter Muizenberg, at the first robot, after you passed the train station and False Bay College on your right, you turn right into Atlantic Road. Follow this road (it makes a left and a right turn) and you will pass over a lagoon. Keep going straight taking the second filter left at the traffic circle (Sunrise Circle). Turn left at the first road on your left. The entrance to Villa D’Algarve is the first set of gates on your right-hand side.

From Cape Town City and Waterfront
You go on to the N2 leading out off the city. Then you follow the signs M3 Muizenberg. (See coming from the M3 and M4).

From Cape Town International Airport
From the airport you go on the N2 to Cape Town. As you approach Groote Schuur Hospital on your right take the off ramp left, marked the M3 Muizenberg (South). (See coming from the M3 and M4).
