Just 20 minutes from central Cape Town and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, we are centrally situated for all the major tourist attractions which include Table Mountain and the Cableway, the Boulders Beach at Simons Town with its famous penguins, the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the world renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens where musical evenings are often held on Sunday evenings in Summertime. ACCOMMODATIONWe offer ideal family accommodation with two double bedrooms, one with queen-size bed and one with twin beds, a full en-suite bathroom and private TV lounge with microwave and fridge. The TV lounge leads to a patio and swimming pool. Airport transfers can easily be arranged if required. Your hosts Rodney and Denise assure you of a wonderful holiday whether lazing around our swimming pool, walking along the beaches and harbour or driving to the many places to see in and around Cape Town. ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONSCharter fishing trips or boat trips to seal island can easily be arranged at the nearby harbour and the World of Birds, which is the largest bird park in Africa, having 100 spacious, tropically landscaped walk-through aviaries and a monkey jungle where you will come face -to-face with the little Squirrel Monkeys, is a five minute drive away. A Hop-on-Hop-off Bus operates from the harbour seven days a week and is an excellent form of sightseeing, stopping at all the interesting places. There are many Wine Routes, starting at nearby Constantia and continuing to the Stellenbosch and Paarl Wine Estates further afield and for a truly unforgettable experience how about a day trip to Aquila Game Reserve, a two hour drive from Cape Town where you can experience an Authentic Big-5 African Safari and view the largest quantity and variety of safari game in the Western Cape. |

DIRECTIONS: From the airport: Follow the N2 to Cape Town, then follow road signs through Green Point, Sea Point, Camps Bay and Llandudno to HOUT BAY along the Coastal Road (Victoria Road) towards the Harbour. Turn right at the Traffic Circle on the corner of Princess Road and Victoria Avenue, then still driving towards the harbour, take the second road to the right (Northshore Drive), then turn left into Westfort Road. Turn left into Sluysken Road and continue straight to Gibraltar Street. You will find Atlantic Sands B&B on the corner of Gibraltar Street and Sluysken Road, with the entrance in Sluysken Road. Airport transfers can easily be arranged if needed. |
