AlphaBed offers stylish accommodation in a relaxed residential atmosphere on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain close to the centre of Somerset West. The rondavel of this house used to be part of a farm. Throughout the years, separate wings were added to the rondavel.

In 2008, your host Nathalie gave this house her deserved destination as a bed and breakfast. This charming thatched roof guesthouse will be your gateway to the beauty of South Africa's Cape Winelands and your ideal basis to explore the major attractions of Cape Town and the peninsula.

Accommodation

This charming guesthouse offers stylish rooms, each comprising an ensuite bathroom and patio / lounge overlooking the swimming pool and beautiful garden. A large Suite of two rooms, privately situated on the first floor, can be booked to accommodate families with children or groups up to 4 people.

Garden Rooms:
Large Bedroom with queen size bed, ensuite bathroom and private patio leading to the garden and swimming pool.

Family Suite:
This Suite has 2 separate rooms and an ensuite bathroom. The unit is privately situated on the first floor with nice views on the mountains and the swimming pool. The unit has a bedroom with queen size bed and a separate lounge area. Sleeps up to 4 people.

Your day at AlphaBed starts with a generous and varied breakfast, which can be enjoyed at your patio or in the rondavel of the house.

This bed and breakfast is surrounded by top quality wine and golf estates. South Africa's oldest wine estate 'Vergelegen' and the prestigious Golf Club 'Erinvale' are at 2km from the guesthouse. Sceneric routes take you in no time to the other Cape Wineland towns as Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. Whale watching in Hermanus and tours to the townships are perfectly arranged from our guesthouse.
