All six suites are individually themed and furnished in soft relaxing colors and natural woods that are well suited to a luxurious ocean fronted environment. The ensuite bathrooms are the ultimate in indulgence with French fragranced bath products, heated towel rails, gowns and complimentary slippers. For a romantic getaway choose a suite with your own Jacuzzi or plunge pool.

All rooms offer superb sea and mountain views, where you wake up to watch whales breaching within 100 meters of your bed. Private balconies and courtyards, prestige linen, goose down duvets, fur blankets, fresh flowers, fruit, ground coffees, champagne for special occasions and every other luxury go to make up this unique package. Close proximity to all local attractions, most within walking distance. Tailor your stay by making individual arrangements with management for breakfasts, which are inclusive, picnic lunches, dinners and all other activities. No request is too big to handle.

Attractions & Activities


Local attractions are world renowned and within a kilometer of Auberge Provence. The most famous of these are whale watching from the cliffs (which are on our doorstep) or from boats or the air at the New Harbour or Gansbaai and shark cage diving from either the New Harbour or Gansbaai. Trips can be arranged by management to suit your schedule.

Other superb options are trips to Dyer Island to see on of the largest seal colonies, wine tasting on the Hermanus or Franschhoek wine routes, a trip to Cape Agulhas to visit the most southern tip of Africa, walks on the mountains and cliff paths the magnificent display of fynbos or simply enjoying warm, wonderful days on the pristine, white Hermanus beaches.
