Dear people,
what a trip we had!!
5 weeks in Namibia and South Africa have just been exciting and wonderful. We are back home since a couple of weeks and after refelcting this trip guess what our highlight was? Correct - The !Xaus Lodge!
We had a wonderful warm welcome at the lodge and a surprising one at the same time. We expected the lodge to be very special and exceptionally - but it was even better: Wonderful rooms, very nice staff, perfect surrounding, lekker food, great night drives, a spoiling pool and even a bunch of lions (!!!) in the morning right next to the lodge. What an exciting experience!!
Now we just want to say hello and thank you to everyone of the staff again!
It has been a real great pleasure: Allan the chef, Grietgies in the service, Hannes, Elvis and Hendrik as scouts and drivers, and of course Pieter and Arné and all the others. Just brilliant!
The explanation about the bushmen and the basic concept of !Xaus Pieter gave to us the other day was just very revealing and helpful!!
