About Citrusdal

Citrusdal is a quiet, unspoilt town dating back to the late seventeen hundreds. It is situated 170 km north of Cape Town on the N7, which is also the main route to Namibia. The dramatically beautiful Cederberg range is to the East and Lamberts Bay, famous for its seafood and bird island only 110 km to the West.

Citrusdal hosts the 2 valley and a mountains mountain bike challenge, 4x4 and quad bike Festival and more than one golf tournament. During August / September the valley is covered with the spring flowers and the Olifants River flows right past the town.
