Offering cosy accommodation in Graskop for up to four people, this self catering chalet is nestled against the edge of the natural forest at the foot of the mountain and The Bonnet Pass. Overlooking the town of Graskop, the chalet boasts views of the spectacular eastern Mpumalanga escarpment.

The accommodation is ideally situated less than four hours from Johannesburg and within easy travelling distance to Graskop, Pilgrims Rest and Sabie. Nelspruit, the Kruger National Park (56km to Phabeni Gate), Mozambique and Swaziland are also within easy driving distance.

Graskop Self Catering

The chalet, with its thatch and tile roof has a rustic ambiance and accommodates two on a queen-size bed and another two on single mattresses in a small loft floor / attic room above the main room. The attic room is accessible by a ladder and is great fun for children.

The bathroom has a bath, basin and toilet. Soap, toilet paper, linen, pillows, blankets and towels are provided.

Self catering is a breeze in the kitchenette which is equipped with basic cooking facilities and utensils; crockery, cutlery, a mini-fridge, a two plate stove and microwave oven. A portable grid outside is also available for a "braai" / barbecue.

A DVD player with monitor and a variety of movie titles are available for rainy days.

Location

The chalet is centrally located in an area that boasts outdoor activities like horse riding, mountain biking and quad bike riding, 4x4 trails, hiking, fishing, bird watching and golf.

From the veranda you can watch breathtaking sunrises over the Mpumalanga escarpment (with a view towards God's Window) or enjoy a cosy fire and evening barbecue. The myriad of winding roads and breathtaking scenery makes the area a very well known motor cyclist's paradise.
