Originally built in the true Cape Dutch style in 1795, Wedgewood Guest Farm is immersed in the truly exclusive and beautiful South African countryside outside Paarl, only an hour from Cape Town. With the whole farm at your disposal, you are free to explore on foot and on bicycle. Our guests are encouraged to use this unique opportunity to really step back and enjoy the peacefulness. Because the farm is a working wine farm the guest can experience the intensity and creativity behind the winemaking progress, they can even get involved themselves in this age old process. AccommodationWedgewood Guest Farm gives you the opportunity to choose the type of accommodation suitable for you - Dinner, Bed and Breakfast; Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering. The Manor House offers spacious rooms which have been decorated to make you feel entirely pampered and comfortable during your stay. The Manor House sleeps a total of 6 people, but will soon be extended to accommodate 10 people. Bed & Breakfast or an all inclusive option is available the whole year round. The option of self catering is available in one of our two stunning self catering cottages. Each sleeps two and are fully equipped for you to cater for your self. The whole Manor House can also be rented on a self catering basis. DiningA real farm breakfast will be served in the cozy dining room. Lunch can be enjoyed around the stunning pool in the garden or maybe even packed as a picnics lunch to be enjoyed at the top of the mountain on the farm. For dinner, guests will have a chance to experience real South African cuisine around a candle lit table. ActivitiesActivities in the surrounding areas include: • Wine and olive tasting on the many wine and olive farm in the area. • Explore the historical towns of Paarl, Malmesbury and Wellington, all within 15 minutes of the farm. • Ideally positioned to explore the West Coast, with its spring flower display. • One hour to Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport. • Bird watching, hiking and cycling. • Visit Franschhoek and Stellenbosch for their fantastic architecture and restaurants.
