A quiet haven in the cityWater's Edge is a 2 bedroom self catering suite ideally situated on the water's edge at Marina da Gama. The self-catering ground floor suite is fully equipped and sleeps 5 people comfortably. FacilitiesThe suite has two separate bedrooms, with beautiful views of the waterway. The main bedroom has a double bed while the second bedroom has a comfortable single bed and a double bunk bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge, stove and microwave oven. The modern bathroom has an extra large shower with all bath linen provided. Bedroom and kitchen doors open onto the patio which is equipped with table, chairs and braai (barbecue) facilities. A small lounging area has a TV with SABC and E-TV. There is also a dining table. Maid service can be arranged. Doors open directly onto the water. Parents with toddlers must therefore be constantly vigilant and safety conscious. There is an Indian canoe and paddle skis as well as a swimming pool for use by guests. The waterway is very safe for swimming and other watersports. Marina da GamaMarina da Gama is conveniently situated, taking only 25 minutes drive to the V&A Waterfront, 25 minutes to Simon's Town and 40 minutes to Stellenbosch. The marina is a series of waterways which lead into Sandvlei, and then into the sea at Muizenberg. The area offers an abundance of bird and fish life. A pair of Fish Eagles nest at the south end of Sandvlei - a 15 minute paddle by canoe will get you there. |
