About Waterkloof Guest Farm

Waterkloof Guest Farm caters for convenient 3-star self-catering accommodation located on a working African farm, near the town of De Rust, at the foothills of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, in the heart of the Little Karoo.

Self Catering Accommodation

We provide a self-catering house with three bedrooms (one double bed and eight single beds) that can sleep up to ten guests. All linen and towels are provided. The rooms have fans and heaters. The house consists of a fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge, deep freeze etc), two private bathrooms (with shower and bath) and a spacious lounge area with a TV (bring your decoder for DStv access.) There is a lovely braai area and safe under-cover parking available.

This charming homestead dates back to 1870 and together with its tranquil surroundings is a truly unique experience for local and foreign visitors. The area is malaria free and we pride ourselves on the fantastic climate; beautiful winter days with cool nights and perfect sunny summers.

Tamed wildlife roams freely along with domesticated animals on the working farm. We farm with ostriches, cattle, sheep, Angora goats and vegetable seed.
