Kleinmond is a beautiful little village at the foot of the Kogelberg mountains and all the way down to its white, sandy beaches. It lies on a lagoon at the small mouth - hence the name meaning “little river mouth“ - of the Bot River, on a narrow strip of land, hugged on one side by the Kogelberg mountain range and on the other side by the Atlantic Ocean. It is also a very peaceful little village, endowed with some of the coast’s most natural beauty. It lies within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve which supports over 1600 species of fynbos of which numerous are endemic.

Accommodation

Each room is equipped with television, 400 count Egyption cotton linen, soaps, coffee & tea and the finest art and Bali décor. All rooms walk out onto a patio, each with their own easy chairs, connected to the pool and Jacuzzi set in the lush garden. The beautiful lounge and breakfast area has a fire place, where you can enjoy some of the Cape’s finest wines in the winter or in the Jacuzzi or pool in the summer.

Facilities

The Villa has a mini gym and a treatment room, from where you will leave totally relaxed. Also a crystal clear rock pool, set in the tropical gardens at the foot of the Kogelberg mountains and on tha edge of the pool an outdoor Jacuzzi under the African sky.

Quaint restaurants and shops in the harbour, set the mood for romantic and a relaxing stay at Villachad Guesthouse. Activities and Attractions

In Kleinmond you can enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes and seascapes. 5 Minutes away, in Betty’s Bay, you will find the penquin Colony, home to one of only 3 land-based breeding colonies of the endangered African Penguin. Kogelberg vlei is home to a small herd of wild horses.

A golfers paradise with Arabella and Hermanus to add to Kleinmond’s own 9 hole golf course. Excellent birding, nature walks, wine tours, horse riding, whalewatching, fishing and moon gazing.

Villachad offers its own shuttle service and tours to Cape Town, the V&A Waterfront, Cape Point, the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek winelands, the Overberg Winelands. Shark diving, whale watching, Cape Agulhas, the Garden Route, Golf Trips.

Only 30 minutes drive from Hermanus and an hour from Cape Town International Airport. One and a half hours to the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
