Architecturally, Views over Plett is Balinese-influenced with a flaring tiled roof, wooden-based columns and a dramatic entrance with carved wooden doors which encapsulates the feeling of light and wide open spaces. Inside, the house has many African accents and is warm and welcoming with neutral and earth-toned hues and eclectic décor.

The en-suite bathroom is truly luxurious and spacious, with a large freestanding bath, double shower and `his' and `hers' wash basins, with luxury towels and upmarket amenities, heated towel rails and underfloor heating.

Queen bed, lounge area, with a limited view over the Indian Ocean, Tsitsikamma Mountains and Plettenberg Bay. The en-suite bathroom is truly luxurious and spacious, with freestanding bath, shower and double wash basins, heated towel rails and underfloor heating.

Self catering Holiday Home

Views over Plett can be rented as a holiday home and is fully-equipped with all the mod cons to cater for up to six people. There are three en-suite bedrooms, each individually decorated. All bedrooms have spectacular views through large windows, a seating area and a sumptuous bathroom with free-standing bath, luxury towels and upmarket amenities. Beds are beautifully dressed with 100% percale cotton linen.

Step through the impressive entrance doors and entrance hall to the centre of the house which is an inviting open plan living area with amazing views over Plett. The living area has a comfortable lounge with 127cm Plasma TV, DVD / CD player and fireplace, dining area and gourmet kitchen. Thatched ceilings give this living area a cosy African feel which is continued through to the vast wooden decked patio with its built in braai area and rimflow swimming pool.

The lounge and dining area can be extended through sliding doors to the large enclosed patio with built-in braai and gas braai, where another six seater wrought iron dining set and comfortable upholstered lounge suite features. The sliding doors leading to the pool can be fully opened and here you can experience the true sense of Views over Plett.

With its close proximity to tourist edens such as the Tstitsikamma Rain Forest, the Knysna Estuary and its cosmopolitan town, and the arid beauty of ostrich country behind the Outeniqua Mountains, Views over Plett is an ideal spot from which to discover the secrets of what is, reputedly, the most beautiful region in South Africa.

Plett, as it is known by the locals, is one of the most scenic coastal towns on South Africa’s Garden Route. If offers long stretches of unspoilt beaches, pristine rivers, lagoons, estuaries and indigenous forests where you can hike or mountain bike. It provides endless opportunities for nature-lovers with spectacular scenery, beautiful, indigenous vegetation and prolific wildlife, including sea and birdlife. In season, you can take a trip out to sea to watch dolphins and whales frolic and breach in the waves. Further up the coast at Tsitsikamma adrenalin sports lovers are attracted by the highest commercial bungee jump in the world at Bloukrans Bridge, zipline tree top canopy tours and blackwater tubing.

The area boasts a number of animal sanctuaries where endangered species are bred in captivity, including the Knsyna Elephant Park, the Crags Elephant Sanctuary, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre and Eagle Encounters. Views over Plett is perched above Plettenberg Bay, in the secure upmarket Whale Rock Ridge estate, front row and north facing. It boasts panoramic views of the beautiful town, the Indian Ocean and the surrounding Tsitsikamma Mountain range. The development is secured with an electric fence and 24 hour patrols, access to property is via the gate house. The house is all on one level with no steps.

Plettenberg Bay itself has many interesting shops, excellent restaurants, coffee bars and night clubs and is known for its all year round temperate climate.
