About Tutwa Desert Lodge
Tutwa Desert Lodge is set on a 16 000 ha private game reserve in the heart of the Green Kalahari in the Northern Cape. With exclusive access to over 20kms of Orange River frontage, the Lodge provides an oasis of cool in its harsh environment and offers a unique and private wildlife experience.
The colours of Tutwa Lodge are organic and muted, with polished floors, high ceilings and original artworks by South African artists. The cool, spacious interiors of the Lodge offer sanctuary against the scorching African sun. The lodge is surrounded by the African bush offering wonderful game viewing opportunities.
There are five Verandah Suites, two Upstairs Suites and two Annexe Rooms. All suites have climate control, extended mosquito nets, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary sherry. A natural game path passes this aspect of the lodge, and it's quite possible that antelope, giraffe, zebra or other African game may wander past.
