Tulbagh Country Guest House is the jewel in the Quarters crown. Guests enjoy the luxury of Old World charm and experience grand Cape Dutch living, surrounded by antiques and original art works. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home in the lounge and old farm style kitchen.

Guest House Accommodation

The Manor House offers 3 king-sized luxury en-suite rooms, as well as a Family Suite that sleeps 4 in 2 rooms, with an en-suite bathroom. Also available is a single suite with en-suite shower and toilet. All our mattresses are of the highest quality and our linen is 100% cotton percale. Most rooms have private doors onto the garden and pool and guests are encouraged to make free use of all facilities including the covered terrace braai/BBQ area.

Luxury Self Catering

The Wagon Shed is our luxury self-catering unit that sleeps 2 in a Queen-sized four poster bed with an open plan bed / living room, kitchenette and en suite bath/shower room. The Wagon Shed enjoys a private veranda / garden and off street parking, and guests have full use of the Quarter’s pool and facilities.

Breakfast

Breakfast at our Tulbagh guesthouse is always a treat, and served in the grand dining room on a table spread with antique crockery, silver cutlery - and always accompanied by Mozart! Our guesthouse's 3-course 'Country Breakfast' has won appraisals in publications from several countries such as the New Yorker magazine and the Lonely Planet. During the winter months, breakfast is served in the guesthouse's more intimate farm-style kitchen next to a blazing hearth.
