About The Walden House
Built in 1900, The Walden House is located against the backdrop of the majestic Table Mountain. This gracious Victorian home and garden suites, have been restored to its original splendor and refurbished with the elegant finishes.
The Walden House has a colonial style, with a touch of Africa, and an open ambience without clutter, with each piece of furniture selected with a purpose.
Seven elegant en-suite rooms offer a unique and private setting. Rooms are decorated in a colonial style with white cotton bed linen and white painted wooden floors. Four of the rooms offer direct access to the beautiful garden.
The large luxury suite has a fireplace, large Victorian bathroom with a separate shower and boasts direct access to the balcony with stunning mountain views.
All the bathrooms are luxurious with heated towel rails and brass fixtures. Each room has a television set, telephone, mini bar, air conditioning and wireless internet access.
