The Venue at Morgan Bay Hotel is fast becoming a favourite wedding and conference venue in the Eastern Cape. The mile-long beach, ocean and majestic cliffs create a breathtaking backdrop and our air conditioned venue, with beautiful parquet floors and elegant down lights, can easily be transformed into your dream wedding setting or relaxed conference venue. Please note that we are unable to cater for weddings and conferences over the festive season and Easter holidays

Conferences

We cater more for less formal conferences for up to 120 delegates and are able to host banquet, board room, cinema and U-shape style conferences. Our venue has stack doors that lead to a deck and garden areas and the room itself has air conditioning. The beach is also only a few meters away, making this an ideal place for team building activities.

We offer printing, typing and photocopying services as well as audio and visual equipment hire, stationery hire and Wi-Fi access. There is a selection of packages to choose from should you choose for us to manage your catering as well.

Weddings

We provide a fully catered service, including all meals and drinks and can offer you three stunning locations for your ceremony. You are welcome to set up on the grassy terraces in front of The Venue, where you will have a sea view with waves rolling in and out as you say your vows.

Alternatively, St Peter's is a quaint church situated in Kei Mouth, 15km from Morgan Bay and accessible by tar road. The church seats up to 100 guests.

The third option is the Milkwood Spa Terrace, which is available for intimate weddings of less than 80 guests.

The Venue is neutral and works with almost any colour scheme. At night there are over 250 star lights creating a magnificent starry night effect. Choose from circular or rectangle tables and upholstered round backed chairs with white stretch covers.

Our kitchen serves an elegant plated meal and can cater for your personal requirements. All allergies are best catered for where possible, however we need to be informed of these in advance.

The Milkwood Spa

With the most startling and breathtaking view along the Eastern Cape, the Milkwood Spa commands the ultimate position. Here you can enjoy the sights and the sounds of the Wild Coast while you unwind and relax. There are a range of massage and beauty treatments to choose from as well as a sauna and Jacuzzi. When you are finished you can enjoy a glass of bubbly on the viewing deck.
