AccommodationThe Rosendal has 17 double luxury rooms, all with beautiful bathrooms en-suite, with your choice of two singles or a king-size bed. The finest cotton linen, fluffy white towels and personal touches will ensure that you have a memorable stay in the lovely village of Rosendal. Under floor heating in the bathrooms, fireplaces, electric blankets and locally made down duvets will keep you warm on those chilly winter Free State nights. All rooms have private outside verandas or gardens, perfect for enjoying a sundowner while enjoying a view of the Witteberge. All rooms are fitted with mini bars, tea and coffee making facilities and tins of homemade biscuits. Four rooms have been designed as family units, with an inter-leading door between the two suites. These are ideal for families travelling with children. DiningOur Country Restaurant is located in one of South Africa’s premium agricultural areas, fresh local ingredients are at the heart of the cooking in our country restaurant. The focus is on simple food with a twist, with something to suit all tastes. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from Thursday to Monday every week and every day during holiday periods. The Friendly BarOur bar is the place where locals and guests meet. The veranda in front of the bar has spectacular views over the Witteberg and surrounding farmland, and lots of comfortable couches to watch the cows being herded home. In winter there are large open fireplaces in the restaurant, bar and adjoining library to keep the Free Sate winter chill at bay. WeddingsThe Rosendal is the ideal venue for that perfect country wedding you have always dreamed of. We can cater for up to 120 guests in our dedicated function room and have our own sandstone chapel on site. Three acres of beautiful hotel gardens and the surrounding countryside provide a wonderful backdrop for your wedding portraits ConferencesThe Rosendal country retreat is an ideal venue for businesses looking for undisturbed surroundings in which to hold productive conferences or meetings. Our conference room has state of the art facilities designed to inspire and motivate and is ideal for training sessions or strategy sessions for up to 20 delegates and has an adjoining private breakaway area for group brainstorming sessions. Conference packages are available to your particular requirements. Attractions and ActivitiesNearby activities include fishing, golf, horse riding and mountain biking. The town and surrounding area have a number of historical sandstone buildings that are really worth a visit.
