"The Quarters" is located in De Waterkant, one of the most convenient locations in Cape Town for any traveller, be it for business or pleasure. Situated on the slopes of Signal Hill, with its famous Noon Day Gun, De Waterkant has kept most of its old-world charm, but has at the same time become trendy and up-market. It is referred to as "The Village". And that's what it's like, a village in the middle of Cape Town with small cottages and roof decks with fabulous views of Table Mountain while having a sundowner. The perfect spot from which to enjoy the Mother City! In the heart of this historic village you will find "The Quarters", a modern haven for the weary traveller. From here it is only minutes away to the V&A Waterfront, the city centre, and Cape Town's increasingly popular Convention Centre (CTICC). The Atlantic beaches and Table Mountain are a short ride away (10 minutes). The narrow cobbled streets invite you to explore the quaint residential cottages, restaurants and designer boutiques. The art galleries and street cafés are part of the way of life in the Village. From here you also have easy access to all major motorways to the Cape winelands and the Garden Route. AccommodationThe three “quarters” are in an old building which has been completely modernised for your comfort and enjoyment. The flats are linked by a spiral staircase leading from one unit to the other opening onto the roof deck. This is a perfect place to enjoy the incredible views of the Mother City as the African sunset reflects against Table Mountain. Each self-catering unit can accommodate a maximum of two people. They can be rented individually or the entire Quarter could serve as accommodation for a large family or individuals from the same company. Beautifully decorated, with attention to detail, there is air-conditioning/heating and a flat screen TV in every unit, while the roof deck is for everyone's enjoyment ! Quarter 1 Q1 has a spacious living area with an open-plan kitchen, microwave and bar fridge. The large bedroom has two single beds with en-suite bathroom / shower. Quarter 2 Q2 has a living room and a separate kitchen with microwave and an oven / stove combination. The bedroom has a queen size bed with en-suite bathroom / shower. Quarter 3 Q3 is a very spacious studio apartment, with a glass partition between the living area and the bedroom. There is a separate kitchen and a bathroom with a shower / bath. Services and Facilities• Airport transfers, day tours, and car hire can be arranged for you. • The city centre, Cape Town International Convention Centre, and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront are all within walking distance. • Table Mountain and Cape Town's beaches are only a 10 minute ride from "The Quarters". • "Cape Quarter" with its shops, restaurants, and bars is just across the street. • A laundry service is nearby and a daily maid service is available upon request. • The management speaks English, French, and German.
