About The Parkhouse
The Parkhouse is a designer guest house, offering stylish, modern rooms with big comfy beds, soft linen and power showers right in the heart of Gardens.
With trendy Park Road and Kloof Street so close you can walk to most of the popular restaurants, bars, shops and attractions, it’s so convenient you may never want to leave The Parkhouse.
Rooms sleep two guests each and are stylish and well equipped with HD TVs are equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning and a desk with USB charger and international plug. There is also a bar fridge to keep your refreshments cool, and many other comforts.
You can enjoy the awesome view of Table Mountain, the 7th wonder of the world from our terrace or go for a stroll.

Activities and Attractions
Walk up or down the road and just around the corner for some more variety in this lively neighbourhood. With so many great restaurants, pubs and coffee shops to visit, we hope you have enough time to try them all. Your choices are endless with trendy bars and restaurants, some pretty swanky top end dining; some of South Africa's legendary musicians playing live in small intimate venues or just enjoy some good old local pubs.
The neighbourhood has excellent boutique shopping or take a walk to the city and explore her treasures. The beautiful and historic Company Gardens are nearby with museums and galleries to discover. And a walk through the colourful multi cultural historic Bo Kaap is a must.
Laze about on Camps Bay Beach or hang out with the trendy crowd for cocktails on this vibey strip. Head off to the V&A Waterfront to shop, eat, play or ferry across the bay to the Robben Island prison. Pop up Table Mountain by cable car for the best views of Cape Town.
In less than 20 minutes by taxi you could be in picnicking in Kirstenbosch Gardens, testing wines on a wine farm in Constantia, walking through Newlands Forest, eating seafood on the wharf in Hout Bay or surfing in Muizenburg.
Slightly further and you could discover the wine routes of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek or historic Simon's Town with penguins in the wild up close, quirky shopping in Kalk Bay or the cleanest air at Cape Point.
