About The Lions Guest House
The Lions Guest House is a spacious double storey, Victorian establishment situated in the leafy suburb of Tamboerskloof, boasting magnificent views of Table Mountain and Lion's Head. It is ideally located in the heart of Cape Town between Table Mountain and the City Centre.
The area boasts a number of popular stylish restaurants, coffee shops and deli's, most of which are all within walking distance of the guest house.
Accommodation
The Lions Guest House comprises of six bedrooms offering accommodation for up to 12 guests. Each room sleeps two people and all have en-suite bathrooms and free Wi-Fi.
There is a communal open plan lounge and dining area with a shared modern kitchen and separate scullery. The fully equipped, modern kitchen includes a fridge / freezer, oven, hob, microwave and washing machine.
We have a peaceful, private garden and space to enjoy meals outside whilst soaking up the view of Table Mountain. DStv is available in the main lounge of the lions guest house.
Deluxe Lion Room:
A spacious double room with Oregon pine floors, King size bed / Twin beds and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The room is suitable to accommodate a 3rd person (0-16).
Deluxe Elephant Room:
A spacious double room with Oregon pine floors, Queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.
Deluxe Leopard Room:
A spacious double room with Oregon pine floors, Queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower overlooking Table Mountain.
Garden Rhino Room:
A smaller double room on the garden level with double bed and en-suite bathroom including a shower and a Victorian bath. The room is not suitable for taller people. We recommend this room for a single person for long term bookings.
Garden Whale Room:

Private Buffalo Apartment:
This private apartment has its own entrance, lounge, balcony, modern kitchen, air conditioning, DStv and en-suite bathroom with a shower. It is suitable for families with up to two children, honeymooners, business travellers and couples.
