We’d love to go back for a few days as overnight was not long enough to enjoy the property to its fullest - it’s STUNNING!!!

Excellent location - close to town. Did a walk from the property up the mountain where the views were spectacular. The cottage is well thought out and has everything you need. Good quality bedding & towels and was impressed at the standard of the pots/pans/glasses etc in the kitchen. It's nice to have different dining options ie braai area with outside table or inside with fireplace. Great experience overall!

What a gem! We had the most magnificent stay at The French Cottage. Its location is magical with its beautiful surroundings. We just couldn't get enough of the cave. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated and appointed perfectly with absolutely everything you need, we didn't want for anything. Some of the beds are a little hard but that's the only thing I could fault. If you love to be in nature, this is the place to be. I definitely left a piece of my heart behind and I absolutely intend on returning.

From the moment we arrived (3 couples) we fell in love with The French Cottage. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with every convenience at our fingertips. The gardens are a delight and we spent early mornings listening to the birdlife whilst breakfasting outdoors. The pit was perfect for sundowners before heading indoors to snuggle up to a log fire. We were 6 in our party and had ample space to enjoy our getaway. It is beautifully situated within a 5 min drive to the town, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquillity the property has to offer. We would definitely recommend a stay at The French Cottage.
