We had the pleasure of breaking our trip home from Lamberts Bay, at the Falls Guest House. there was no room avaible, and Adele kindly gave us her private guest room for the first night's stay, and moved us to one of the self-catering units on our 2nd day. we chose to eat the offered meal; this we would recommend to all who stay there. a 3 course meal, served in true cordon bleu style. so good, we just could not leave a morsel on our plate! the breakfast's are as good as any we have ever had, anywhere in the world. the kindness, friendleness, decor, everything, it is truly remarkable. this place is very child friendly, and, we will definetly be taking our grandchildren with on our next trip. We would recommend this guest home to all. On the game drive, this is also recommended. it all depends on what you want. if it is animals as in the Kruger National Park, no, but there are BIRDS, the rocks and terraine, small animals. For us, an unforgetable trip! And, we will soon go back.

We stayed at The Falls Guest House in Augrabies in January 2010 on our way to the West Coast. Although the booking process via e-mail and fax was cumbersome, the units and reception made it worthwhile. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed (especially the aircon). We chose a Braai for dinner and can recommend it to anyone. We also took a game drive, but found the game drive disappointing and would not recommend it.
