A National Monument of over 100 years old, The Coach House has undergone extensive renovations, without losing any of its old charm. Perfectly situated in one of the quieter streets in Franschhoek just a stroll away from shops, galleries, award winning restaurants and only 50 metres from the Huguenot Monument and Museum. AccommodationThe Coach House has seven beautifully decorated rooms, all en-suite with either queen or twin beds. All the rooms are fitted with air-conditioning / heating, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar fridge, hair dryers and television. Three of these rooms are in the garden area, all with their own private patio’s where guests can relax and take in the summer sun. The other four rooms are in the main house and one of these rooms have a huge balcony facing the Franschhoek Mountains, giving you spectacular views and beautiful sunrises. All the bathrooms have heated towel rails, 100% white cotton towels and guest amenities. The beds are fitted with 100% white cotton linen. BreakfastEnjoy breakfast in our sunny breakfast room or if you choose outside in our garden area. Breakfast consists of Buffet style Continental breakfast, followed by a hot English breakfast made to order. A two hour drive takes you all the way to Hermanus for a day trip where you can whale watch and enjoy the beach. There are three championship golf courses in easy access; Pearl Valley, (hosts the South African Open), Boschenmeer and De Zalze. For the romantic a twenty minute drive takes you to Boschendal, where you can enjoy a lovely picnic or if you choose to go further, Kirstenbosch hosts some lovely summer concerts where you can bring your own picnic basket, wine and blanket and lay in the beautiful gardens or dance to the music. We have Theewaterskloof half an hour away, where you can enjoy water sports, or for the very adventurers, you can try paragliding.
