Tantivvey is a very well-run establishment with EXTREMELY comfortable beds (at least, our was) and excellent breakfasts. Ted and Alba are truly welcoming hosts who accommodated our pressing need for ice-cold wine and wine glasses - even though there are no bar facilities. Tantivvey is perfect if you love sausage dogs and perfectly cooked poached eggs.
Our only small 'moan' is that a dip in a small pool would have been welcome at the end of a long day's drive. Herold's Bay is beautiful and very close, but a little plunge pool would have done the trick.
We cannot recommend Tantivvey highly enough and wish Ted and Alba continued success.
