Strandfontein on the West Coast of South Africa is situated +/- 350 km from Cape Town via well maintained tar road. This West Coast town is very popular for holidaymakers, tourist that are exploring Namaqualand in and out of the popular flower season and those that just want to have a quiet breakaway.

Good weather throughout the year, with especially good climate during spring and summer due to it’s location next to the Atlantic Ocean. Summer temperatures rarely exceed 25º Celsius compared to the inland that can reach temperatures of up to mid 40º Celsius. Strandfontein is part of the winter rainfall region in South Africa and therefore generally does not receive rainfail during spring and summer (September through to April).
