About Stormy Hill Cottage

Stormy Hill offers accommodation in both a cottage and shed. This is the perfect place for those that wish to unwind and relax in the country or come and try our wonderful horse trails. There is an abundance of birdlife and you maybe lucky to see some of our visiting wildlife.

Self Catering Accommodation

We offer accommodation in both a cottage and in a more basic Bed in the Shed.

The Cottage:
The cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom as well as a double sleeper couch. The bedrooms all have wardrobes and mirrors. Bed linen and towels are provided. One bathroom is equipped with both a ball and claw bath and a spacious shower.

There is a large kitchen equipped with a gas hob and electric oven as well as a fridge / freezer, a toaster, a kettle and a microwave. Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are provided. There is also a wood stove for the cooks that wish to go back in time.

The living room has a wood fire and stunning views onto the surrounding countryside. A bag of wood is provided for guests to enjoy the fire. Parking is provided in the grounds of Stormy Hill.

Bed in the Shed:
The Bed in the Shed accommodates two guests. The unit is a double bedroom furnished with a double bed, a built in wardrobe and wood burner. The separate shower room is shared with the owner of the property. It has a mini kitchen with a kettle and two plate stove. Crockery, pots and pans are provided.

Guest Access

Stormy Hill Horse Trails have 20 hectares (50 acres) to explore. We will require you to sign an indemnity before venturing into any of the horse areas. Stormy Hill has a host of wild flowers and the view from the top of the hill is stunning.

Your Host

I can offer advice on where to go and things to see in the surrounding area or you can book on one of our personally guided horse trails through the surrounding countryside. I can also offer an introduction to horses and horseback riding course. There are a number of different options which I can discuss with you when you book. Alternatively I can just leave you alone to enjoy the countryside.
