About Stone Fly Guesthouse
Stone Fly Guesthouse is situated in the small town of Dullstroom in Mpumalanga and offers comfortable accommodation in four spacious rooms.
Guest House Accommodation
The guest house comprises four en-suite bedrooms, a communal fireplace and seating area, a dining room and an entertainment area with a TV with DStv. Each room is equipped with a tea and coffee tray. Room 2 is wheelchair-friendly and Room 4 is suitable for families. Guests have access to an outdoor patio with built in braai facilities and a seating area where guests can relax. Secure parking is provided and the house is fitted with an alarm system and 24 hour armed response.
Room 1 (Honeymoon Suite):
The honeymoon suite is a spacious room with built in cupboards and contains a double bed, a dressing table and en-suite bathroom with a spa bath, a shower, two basins and a toilet. The room is equipped with a tea and coffee tray.
Room 2 (Wheelchair Friendly):
Room 2 is wheelchair friendly with a ramp for easy accessibility. The room is also easily accessible from the parking area. Room 2 contains a double bed, cupboards, a dressing table, and en-suite bathroom with a wheelchair friendly bath and a standard shower. The room is equipped with a tea and coffee tray.
Room 3 (Downstairs):
Room 3 is a standard room and contains a double bed, cupboards, a dressing table and en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and a toilet. The room is equipped with a tea and coffee tray.
Room 4 (Family):
Room 4 is a spacious family room situated upstairs. Room 4 can accommodate four guests and contains a double bed, a bunk bed, cupboards, a dressing table and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin, and a toilet. The room is equipped with a tea and coffee tray.
Whole House (Minimum 8 People):
The whole house can be rented out to a minimum of eight people per night. The house can sleep a total of 16 people in four en-suite bedrooms, two double sleeper couches in the lounge and two single beds in the loft. If this option is taken, the kitchen becomes available on a self catering basis.
The town of Dullstroom is perched high on the slopes of the Steenkampsberg Mountain Range and is a natural paradise, offering exceptional panoramas of mountains and wild flowers. This makes for a wide and varied birdlife in the area.
The most famous Dullstroom attraction of all, is fishing. Dullstroom is well-known for its great trout streams and scenic fishing spots. The surrounding area also offers opportunity for day trips to Sabie, Graskop, and Pilgrims Rest.
