Stannards Guest Lodge, in it's large, well groomed garden in exclusive Hunter Home, offers the discerning holidaymaker who loves life, a warm welcome and the ideal environment for a truly do-as-you-please vacation. Additional facilities include a cosy English pub, large manicured gardens, peace and tranquility and lots of bird-life! ACCOMMODATIONBED & BREAKFAST ROOMS: But let us not forget the most important factor - comfort! Each bedroom has its own private entrance, and is luxuriously furnished in individual style, with full bathroom en suite, tea and coffee facilities, telephone and many extra considerate touches to complete your pleasure. But in no way feel confined to your own room... our two lounges invite you to take your ease in luxury, enjoying a book or your favourite TV show. SELF CATERING COTTAGE: For those who prefer self-catering, we offer a two-bedroomed garden cottage with large lounge and sleeper couch, shared DSTV and fully fitted open plan kitchen. Each bedroom has a shower en-suite, fan and doors opening onto a wooden deck overlooking the garden and swimming-pool. This unit which is very comfortable for 4 can sleep a maximum of 6 guests and is serviced 3 times a week. ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONSWe make sure you are well fortified for a hard day's pleasure, and will help you plan your activities and excursions as you please, to make sure your holiday arrangements run smoothly. Our lounges invite you to take your ease in luxury, enjoying a book or your favorite TV show or enjoy the company of other guests. Then, in the evening, we'll arrange dinner reservations for you at any of the better restaurants in town as you desire... we have permanent bookings at all the best places! If you don't feel energetic, there's nothing better than just lazing away the morning or afternoon in the garden with a good book, or by the pool, and we have all-day tea and coffee on tap at no charge. And lazing in our gardens is such a pleasure as you will be surrounded by 11/2 acres of a lush, green tropical setting with ample shade or sun with the peaceful sounds of nature and bird calls all around.
