About South Coast Bungalow
South Coast Bungalow rests in the heart of Illovo Beach, a quiet hamlet on the outskirts of Amanzimtoti, along KwaZulu Natal’s South Coast.
Free from thoroughfares and commuting traffic, this peaceful village is home to a handful of visitor establishments and residents, and is perhaps one of the few spaces where folk walk about the village by day and night.
South Coast Bungalow rests on a crest commanding panoramic views over the ocean, with sight and sound of crashing waves, whilst being just far enough to avoid the occasional on-shore beach breeze.
Self Catering Accommodation
This modernised bungalow has its roots set in the late 1800’s, retains elements of this bygone era and is one of the last remaining examples of ‘the pioneer Natal settler house’ along the coast.
South Coast Bungalow accommodates a maximum of seven guests in three bedrooms and a day bed in the sun lounge, with two rooms sharing one en-suite bathroom and one room with a private en-suite shower.
The kitchen, dining room and sun lounge open onto a spacious patio and this is the gathering point, made possible by fantastic weather throughout the year.
The facilities and amenities make coastal holiday living comfortable and include satellite television and Wi-Fi for those who simply cannot completely immerse themselves in sun, sea and sand.
Family and Pet Friendly
The bungalow is ideal for the whole family, including your pets and they too can join you for a sundowner or hearty meal at the local pub, a mere three minutes down the road.
All of this, just 35km south of Durban, and minutes off the N2, makes South Coast Bungalow easily accessible and ensures that guests can connect with a variety of nearby attractions, which will almost certainly keep everyone entertained.
