Lots of pros and cons.... accommodation was large, lots of room, lots of cupboard space, bath and shower, however the furnishings were a little tired and shabby, not comfortable, need updating . Hospitality was excellent and the food well prepared and presented. Overall impression was that the B&B was focessed on ramblers....
The rooms were lovely and the manageress Hannetjie very friendly. Hannetjie bakes the most delicious pumpkin rusks I have tasted. There was underfloor heating and electric blankets were put on in the afternoon so that when you climbed into bed, it was cosy and warm. Frank, the owner and chef, made delicious breakfast and the only thing that I would say was that they should cater for people that cannot eat/tolerate oil in their diets. Otherwise, my children and I will be going back. Thank you
This is the best guest house ever. Breakfast was a feast for a king. The room are lovely and serves excellent. We will pay you a visit soon. Fanie and Trudie
