A chic five star boutique lodge set in lush tropical gardens and only one block from the Port Elizabeth beach front of Pollock Beach. Simply awesome décor is influenced by the beauty and culture of Africa and the East - rich colours, interesting art work, depth of texture all delivered with a great ambiance and outstanding service.

A warm welcome awaits as you come through the threshold of grand carved wooden doors into the reception to check in for your stay. You are met by our friendly staff to assist with registration and then shown to your special suite and give a guideline of what is available and where everything is.

Accommodation

There are 12 spacious luxury suites all with individual style. The eclectic setting and décor provides a true sense of place - allowing you to experience Lion Roars signature blend of romance, ambience, luxury and exotic sensuality in a true fusion of African and Asian style.

Our spacious suites are individually decorated. They all boast the luxury extras of a mini bar, extra length king-size beds and plasma screen televisions. Top quality bathrobes and slippers are provided to enhance the comfort of our establishment. Not to mention that your suite is tucked away in sub-tropical gardens providing our discerning guests the utmost in privacy.

All suites have incorporated a unique feature as its own signature - Designer bathrooms with hand crafted and laid ceramic tile features, delicately stitched silks and carefully selected artwork will complete this feeling of secret indulgence. Singa Town Lodge features 9 Suites and a further 3 Superior Suites.

Facilities

The suites are joined by pathways that wind under a canopy of trees and shrubs that make you feel as if you are in the tropics! The dining and lounge area are rich in colour and provide a warm and intimate space for meals and relaxing and open out to the gardens on all sides for the cooler days.

Across the lawned courtyard you will find Singa’s cocktail bar, a welcome place for a quiet social gathering or amble across to the open air sitenge where you can enjoy a moment’s repose or take a swim in the Zen style pool.

Singa offers some great reading material in our suites and lounge. Additionally there is a charming loft library where guests may choose from a selection of interesting and informative books and magazines.

Dining

All meals are prepared by our resident chefs from only fresh ingredients and whether you would like something exotic or not - they are always up to something new and exciting and simply want to tantalize your palate. Breakfasts, lunches and gourmet dinners as well as a selection of healthy snacks are served.

Conferences & Meetings

We cater for small conferences and functions. There is a boardroom for a maximum capacity of 10 delegates for private functions and meetings. An additional conference facility can accommodate up to 20 delegates.

For a very different wedding venue a la the East let us take care of all your arrangements while you relax. We will make all arrangements for your wedding be it the preparation of a memorable meal for you and your guests or the flowers and documentation. On arrival prior to the happy occasion you will be welcomed and shown to your suite where you may opt for the bridal pamper package. Our therapist will be waiting for you to treat you to a relaxing session in the Singa spa while the rest of the team pull out all the stops to make your day simply magical. You may opt to tie the knot in the lush gardens at Singa or to use it as a beautiful venue for your reception.
