The cottage features one bedroom which is furnished with a Queen-size bed and a bathroom consisting of a shower only.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven and cutlery and crockery. Tea and coffee facilities are also provided. The lounge is comfortably furnished and also has a fireplace that creates a toasty atmosphere on those cold and sometimes snowy, winter nights.
The cottage has a large garden with views of the surrounding mountains and is situated next to the Gats River. It is within walking distance to town.
Attracting tourists from all over the country, the town is well-known for The Owl House; a cottage transformed by Helen Martins into a glass-encrusted statue-filled landmark!
There are only a handful of streets in the town but these have their fair share of guest houses, restaurants, pubs and art galleries. Make sure you have cash on you as there are no ATMs available!
Graaff-Reinet is only a short drive away and offers a golf course, the Valley of Desolation as well as the Camdeboo National Park.
