Just six kilometres from Rosetta, on tar all the way to your door, you can book into one of our beautiful and well-appointed cottages for your perfect getaway.

Self Catering Accommodation

We offer you the choice between three luxury self-catering cottages situated in the lower, scenic terrace of our 12-acre Midlands Open Garden, with private lawns, and stunning open views onto the farm valleys and up onto the Drakensberg. Each cottage has an open-plan kitchen-dining area-lounge, leading through a sliding door onto the veranda. Enjoy a perfectly equipped cottage with DSTV and your own private braai. The cottages are fully-serviced seven days of the week.

Hinton Cottage:
Two bedroom, full bathroom with shower.

Vale Cottage

ACTIVITIES and attractions

Don’t only go on the Meander, look at what we have while you’re staying on the farm with us…
Free trout and bass fishing, tennis, a trampoline, games room with table tennis and darts and a tree-house for the children, miles of walks, natural mountain bike trails, all in a beautiful hilly setting with abundant wildlife and bird life. You will see otter, dassies, turtle, reedbuck, duiker, caracal, porcupine, fish eagle, crowned crane, Egyptian geese and so much other wildlife. Every night you will hear jackal crying and woodpeckers pecking.

THE MIDLANDS MEANDER

The magic of the Midlands Meander is right on our doorstep too. Visit the local wine cellar, buy handmade chocolate or go chocolate dipping with the kids, get advice on the best trout flies and tackle for your trout or bass fishing venture, savour the Midlands food in a host of great restaurants and pubs on our doorstep, or wind down the country roads and stop off randomly at any of the many great shopping spots ... and we can advise you on the best of the Meander.
