Sea-spray is a comfortable retreat, set on Hibiscus Koppje close to Margates Blue Flag beach. The continuous peaceful sound of waves breaking on the rocks all day and night is heavenly. Watching the ships sail by is a wonderful experience.

These six picturesque cottages face toward the Indian Ocean with lovely sea views. These all differ in style and design. The golden beaches and cool waves beckon all who want to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this popular holiday retreat on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal. This little haven is enjoyed by all who have stayed and enjoyed the hospitality of their host Rose Bester.

These family-friendly cottages are comfortably furnished and equipped. The large Lapa, adjoining pool and braai is enjoyed by all who enjoy the comforts of Sea-spray. Repeat visits are numerous and referrals a continuous flow.

We also accommodate backpackers, fishermen as well as sports and Christian groups (in numbers up to 37).

Self Catering Accommodation

Unit 1:
• Sea views
• Maximum 10 persons
• This is lovely, double storey thatch cottage
• Three bedrooms with sleeper couches. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. A third bedroom also has two single beds.
• Two double sleeper couches in upstairs lounge
• Two double sleeper couches in down-stairs lounge
• Two and a half bathrooms
• Lounge / dining room
• Fitted kitchen with everything you could possibly need
• Braai
• DStv (you need to bring a decoder)

Unit 2:
• Sea views
• This is a spacious, thatched single storey cottage, with private garden and braai.
• Consists of one bedroom and three sleeper couches with a double decker bunk in the lounge
• Lounge / dining room
• Walk in dressing room
• Fitted kitchen
• One bathroom and shower
• DStv (you need to bring a decoder)

Unit 3:
• Sea views
• Three bedrooms – the main bedroom has a double bed, the 2nd bedroom has a single bed and the 3rd bedroom has double bunk beds. There is a sleeper couch in lounge
• Open plan lounge / dining room/kitchen
• Overhead fans
• Braai
• DStv (you need to bring a decoder)

Unit 5:
• Sea views
• Two bedrooms – one double bed and the second bedroom has double bunk beds. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge
• One bathroom and shower
• Fitted kitchen
• Lounge has sliding doors onto patio with a braai
• DStv (you need to bring a decoder)
• Overhead fan in the lounge and main bedroom

Unit 6:
• Sea view
• Budget cottage with one bedroom (twin beds)
