Sandbaai Bed & Breakfast is an upmarket establishment that caters for the travelers that requires a relaxed environment away from the hustle and bustle of the main village centre. The house is 350m from the Sandbaai beach, 3km from Hermanus town and 95km from Cape Town International Airport.AccommodationGuests are accommodated in luxury en-suite bedrooms with superior quality linen and towels. The house has three en-suite bedrooms, two with double beds and one with twin beds. All the rooms have heaters, TV’s and cupboards. There is a central coffee bar with a fridge and microwave. Guests may use the outside lapa and barbeque upon prior arrangement. All the rooms are non-smoking, but we do provide a smoking area on the patio. The premise is secured with a high boundary wall and security gate, providing the guests with secure parking for their vehicles on the premises. Guests are provided with a remote control to gain access to the premises. BreakfastA full breakfast is served by your hosts daily between 08h00 and 09h30 in the dining area or on the covered, upstairs patio which offers wonderful sea views (weather permitting). Attractions and ActivitiesYour hosts, Alan and Ingrid can assist with activity planning and suggestions on a wide range of activities: Guests can relax in the lounge or on the patio downstairs, reading or listening to music while helping yourself from the coffee bar. Alternatively guests can take a leisurely 350m stroll to the beach. Sandbaai Beach, with several little coves that are particularly popular at low tide when swimming is safe is dotted with delightful rock pools full of marine creatures. It is also popular for snorkeling. A further 10 minute walk brings you to the Onrus beach, which is popular with swimmers and board riders. The Hermanus wine route has just been acknowledged and registered as an official wine route by the South African Wine Route Forum, making it the youngest wine route in the country.
