Samia Guesthouse is centrally situated close to Key West Shopping Centre and Monument Shopping Mall in Krugersdorp. We are on Voortrekker Road which is the main road from Krugersdorp to Johannesburg, within walking distance to restaurants, recreational facilities, a bus stop and 15km from Krugersdorp Game Reserve. We are 1 km from the R28 highway to Pretoria, approximately 15 km from Lanseria Airport, 60 km from OR Tambo International Airport and close to the Cradle of Humankind. We offer a shuttle service to collect and drop guests at the airport or choice of destination. AccommodationBedrooms are equipped with TV’s, double beds, chairs and the bathroom consists of a shower, basin and toilet. There is one room which has a bath instead of a shower in the event that there is a specific request for a bath. Additional accessories consist of water jugs, glasses, a bowl of mints, notepad and pen. FacilitiesThe bar / dining area has DStv, a hi-fi and a bar with comfortable bar stools. We generally have visitors when there is sport on TV on a Saturday, and a festive spirit is normally the feature of the day. We make an effort to interact with our guests and to make them feel at home. The lounge / dining area for non-smokers has very comfortable lounging sofas and it’s own DStv for guests that do not enjoy watching what is on in the bar area, or are offended by the smokers. With a homely and tranquil atmosphere, we have an entertainment area and a Lapa where guests can meet and relax. We make an effort to upkeep our garden to allow guests to enjoy tranquillity or have somewhere peaceful to sit and read should they wish to find solace and quiet. Breakfast and DiningOur breakfast consists of a continental spread, followed by toast, bacon and/or sausage, eggs, fried tomato and a pot of filter coffee is always brewing. Dinner is served on request ServicesApart from our warm hospitality, our services include overnight bed, breakfast or lunch pack, laundry, braai area, bar facility, secure parking and are pet friendly subject to approval prior to reservation. We cater for small functions that can seat 40 people, but have a 22h00 noise curfew to ensure that our guests are not disturbed after hours. We have secure and ample parking and for a fee you can have your car washed as well. We keep information pamphlets for guests who wish to visit nearby attractions, and are always willing to provide information about availability of entertainment. NotesWe are pet friendly, but that is subject to approval because no aggressive breeds or uncontrolled dogs are permitted.
