I was one of the very unfortunate guests who spent the weekend at the “LODGE”
We where booked into nr 9. What was supposed to be a nice calm and relaxing weekend ended up in the following:
We landed up in the middle of what seems to be housing for permanent construction workers getting up at just after 5 each morning.
The walls of the room I slept in was not even thick enough to omit the light from the guy that slept next door to us.
The floor of the room echoes on every step so you basically feel and hear every step the guy next door makes.
We had to listen to the guys telephone calls at 23:00, 02:00 and just afer 5:00 and he was not even talking loudly
We could hear every burp and fart and what a joy to listen to every movement he made in the bathroom, I did not know human bodies can make those sounds
There was no bath plug and the shower head kept falling off, even the soap dispenser did not work
For this we were charge R 200.00 per person per night . I REALLY feel done in as we mentioned that we were looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend.
This is one place I would make sure people I know do not use for sleeping over. I absolutely have NO idea how you got a 3 star grading !!!
