About Rosstrevor Guest Farm
Rosstrevor is a late Victorian farmhouse, beautifully restored and just 25 kilometers from Barkly East. Nestled in the foothills of the Witteberg, the southern extension of the Drakensberg and 30 kilometers from Tiffendell Ski Resort.
Find peace and tranquility by strolling along the banks of our crystal streams, or do bird watching or visit our rock art sites. Hiking in the high mountains or forsaking in the river gravels for crystal agars will keep you entertained for hours. We pride ourselves in providing the finest fly-fishing for Wild Rainbow Trout or Orange River yellow fish.
The crystal clear river flows for 18 kilometers around deeply incised meanders and past sandstone cliffs. In season you may like to hunt grey wing francolin, guinifowl or mountain rehbok. The old barn, a beautiful stone building dating back to 1878, once was a dairy, has been renovated into the most beautiful venue for your dream wedding and functions. The Old Dairy restaurant is also open occasionally.
We offer value for money in this tastefully decorated farmhouse and a laid back holiday with healthy activities. It is a must!
The hundred-year old farmhouse has been painstakingly restored and furnished in late Victorian style. The house can accommodate 10-12 people comfortably.

In the dining room you can enjoy your meals around an old style dining table with an essistove to give it a warm and home full atmosphere.
The house is fully equipped with electric blankets open fireplace and heaters in the winter. We have a separate Rondavel sleeping 3 people with its own bathroom.
