Perfect job and wonderful experience but I want to say Big up to the team who participates in building. Its lovely to walk on the Deck with nice view of Buffalo river and the Swimming pool, we can't wait for the Summer again. WELL DONE!! |

THIS HOTEL IS LOVELY,ABSOLUTELY BEATIFUL HOTEL AND THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING IT INTERESTING WITH THOSE BIG STONE AROUND,IT REALLY IMPRESIVE.I SALUTE THOSE PEOPLE WHO WERE INVOLVE IN BUILDING IT AND IM ONE OF THEM.THERE IS A NICE VIEW OF BAFFALO RIVER ,HOPE YOU CAN ALSO DO FISHING AND MAY BE SOON YOU WILL ORGANISE A BOAT TO CRUISE IN THAT BIG RIVER.THE ROOFING IS STYLISH,IT NICE.SHIYANE IS A COOL PLACE TO STAY . |

We stayed 3 days in Rorke's Drift Hotel in early November.
We enjoyed the venue despite a late arrival under tons of rain !
The bar (famous house's red wine) and the food is excellent and our rooms were very nice with an incredible view on the Buffalo River and the landscapes of Zululand.
We went on guided tour of the battlefieds (IsandLwana, Rorke's Drift but also Blood River) which was fantastic. We also did a nice walking trail along the river (many birds and a nice "beach").
Heather, John and Charles are excellent hosts and we've been very pleased to meet them.
We hope to go back there soon just for the pleasure of taking a rest in a nice and so friendly venue and learn more about the Zulu culture. |
