Neat and everything needed was there very friendly reception and explain everything to us

Good day everyone. Rondegat is a very nice place to escape the city and go relax and the best part is you can take your pets with. I enjoyed the stay by rondegat everyone is friendly. Will definitely be back for more.

Beautiful setting. Comfortable accommodation. Fly traps would help and a door mat.

Had an issue with noisy neighbor's, but addressed it with management and was sorted out without delay. We all had a great stay at Rondegat. Has everything one needs for a great away. Thank you.

It is a very peaceful environment and excellent for an escape into nature. However, go prepared for intense heat in summer and many insects particularly huge ants and mosquitoes.

We received a warm welcome, the owners are friendly and helpful. The accommodation is comfortable neat and in general very well maintained. The premises itself is neat and well maintained, Unfortunately I have to mention three downsides: The gravel road to leading to the resort and Clanwilliam is to put it mildly in a terrible state I even experienced damage to to my All Terrain tyres. The dam is non -existent , it is just a bare open plain with a JCB digging almost on a daily basis disturbing the othtrwiise tranquil silence and sounds of nature itself. Something that really frustrated me is that R30 was deducted from my key deposit for a missing potato peeler. Although a trivial amount it must be noted that nowhere did we receive any inventory listing what is in the cottage, nothing to compare or check against, so in my opinion there could not hive been a potato peeler on my arrival, but I have to pay for one. If I argued the point it would be my word against the owner, the deduction without any prior notification or discussion answers the point that I didn't really have a say, ( just for the record, we did not have any use for a potato peeler any point) I will still recommend this resort as a tranquil break-away, just make sure your vehicle can withstand the road assault and that you note everything down that is within the cottage on your arrival..
