Accommodation


Rockview has five spacious en-suite bedrooms and various self catering units. All the rooms have a private entrance with LCD TV, DSTV, A/C and heater, tea / coffee facilities, bar fridge and a desk or dressing table. Linen and towels are provided in rooms. Each bedroom sleeps two to four guests on a queen bed and / or two single beds. A feature in all the rooms is a bay window, which can be used as an extra bed for children.

Facilities include a poolside bar with pool table, study with Wi-Fi internet, copy and fax services.

Conferences


Our venue is easily accessible, has loads of shaded parking and offer spectacular views of the game reserve. The Conference Hall walks out onto the pool area where light lunches are served on the deck. The game can be viewed from here as they come down to the dam for their morning and evening drinks. The hall is equipped with a TV, VCR, Overhead Projector, Data Projector (on request) and conference stationery supplied to each delegate.

We offer full catering facilities for any occasion and the large, luscious gardens have plenty of space for Marquees. Conference facilities are available for meetings, seminars or banquets of up to 30 delegates. Great team building activities on the premises.

Attractions and Activities


We are 1km from the N4 highway; just a stones throw away from the Mbombela Stadium and Broham Driving Range. Nelspruit is the perfect over night stop for the traveler going through to Mozambique. We are also en-route to all the Lowveld and Mpumalanga attractions like the Kruger National Park, Panorama Route (Kaapschehoop, Pilgrim`s Rest, Graskop, Sabie, Mac-Mac Falls, Blyde River Canyon, God`s Window etc).

A wide variety of activities are available to give you a true Lowveld experience:
• Scenic walking trails on 50ha African Bushveld with indigenous tree names marked
• Bird viewing - species range from water birds to large birds of prey like the Fish Eagle which frequents our dam
• Bass fishing
• Game viewing on a safari vehicle or quad bikes will bring you literally within touching distance from our tamer game like the Ostriches & Zebras. Other species on our reserve include Impala, Blesbuck, Crocodiles and the odd Kudu passing through
• Nursery: Guests are welcome to view our nursery by appointment. Various seedlings and plants available and a dose of free advice on how to keep them going
• The largest freshwater aquarium in Africa will open in December 2010 at the lodge. It will be used for scuba & snorkel diving.
