Ridge Road is 9 kilometers from Clarens on the newly tarred Fouriesburg Road – the R711. It is perched on a sandstone ridge overlooking a stream and trout pond, surrounded by 28 hectares of indigenous grassland and mountain views. The multi level stone and Oregon pine house designed by artists Simon Addy & Lyn Hoyle is tucked behind a sandstone outcrop and not visible from the main tar road. The driveway to the house is only 500m.

Self Catering Accommodation

There are five bedrooms - two luxury en suite with king size beds, one luxury en suite with queen size bed and two large rooms sharing a bathroom. These two rooms are flexible & can be either two single beds or a king. All have crisp white 100% cotton percale linen, fluffy white towels, electric blankets, wall heaters and tea/coffee facilities.

The open plan downstairs incorporates the fully equipped kitchen with AGA, microwave, griller, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer and under floor heating. The large high ceilinged TV lounge, reading lounge and entrance hall are flooded with sunlight and lead through over-sized double doors onto the pool, deck area and al fresco eating area.

The house is perfect for large family and friends reunions. Sleeps 10 comfortably but can accommodate more if requested.

The Honeymoon Suite has a fireplace, en suite loo & basins, under floor heated spa room with steam room, shower and jacuzzi. As it has its own kitchenette, large deck with braai facilities and a separate entrance, it can be rented separately, depending on how many have booked into the main house.
