Accommodation

All 80 ensuite rooms are fully equipped with flat screen TVs, tea / coffee stations, air-conditioning and DStv. Our rooms comprise standard double rooms as well as twin bedrooms (two single). Laminated flooring and crisp linen gives a warm and inviting feel to our rooms. All rooms have shower facilities. Watch the sunset or enjoy the breathtaking view from our sundeck.

Breakfast

Our generous breakfast menu includes, various cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, filtered coffee, tea and full English breakfast. Some meals are done on request. For bigger group bookings, a chef is on hand to prepare lunch and supper.

Our fully air conditioned conference venue offers a variety to suit your needs. Fully equipped with projectors, flip charts and stationery. Our venue accommodates 50 delegates.

Activities and Attractions

A mere 15 minute drive to King Shaka Airport and a five minute drive to the Umhlali Country Club. Ballito boasts the finest beaches and tidal pools on the North Coast. Sheltered coves, golden beaches and unspoiled lagoons are the main attraction to the thousands of visitors that frequent Ballito.

Salt Rock, a few kilometers away offers a massive tidal pool and beautiful offshore reefs for snorkellers. The main beach is protected by lifeguards and shark nets. Also on the beach is the Sanibonani Health Spa where one can relax and enjoy a full body massage.

For the keen fisherman, Tinley Manor, also known as the ‘secret spot’ is home to an abundance of sea life, and will delight those that enjoy snorkelling and diving. The lagoon offers safe water sports for paddle skiers, jet ski and wind surfers. These fine beaches have all gained blue flag status and are internationally acclaimed.

For the historians, the town of KwaDukuza is rich in heritage and is a must. This houses the King Shaka Memorial Centre, which was erected over the site where King Shaka is buried. One can view the King Shaka tombstone and the execution rock, where legend has it, King Shaka would throw his enemies off into the pool below.

At Groutville, historians can also visit the Luthuli Museum, where the Nobel peace prize holder was born and raised. The original home, built in 1927 is now a museum. Entrance is free and every visitor is treated to a guided tour.

The nearby Tongaat Sugar Mill offers much insight into the processing of cane into refined sugar. Tours of the mill are still conducted. Further South, one can expect to see the famous Sibiya Casino, with interesting activities for both young and old.
