What an awesome stay we had! The accomodation is set in absolutely beautiful manicured, massive gardens, the perfect place for children to run, play, and hide! Anyone with just the tiniest bit of farm blood running through their veins will fall in love with the huge, typical South African farm house with massive bedrooms, high ceilings and old coal stove in the kitchen.
The meals were a feast for the body and soul with Carols home cooking something to remember for a long, long time! If you have the energy, then a stroll up the mountain reveals stunning 360 degree views of the Winterberg mountains with nothing but nature surrounding you, not even another farm house in site! Definately a little piece of heaven come down to earth! |
