when we arrived at Pungwe, our host was waiting for us at the gate (we were late) and nicely instructed us to get our luggage and to hurry, so he could bring us to the already left safari car, which already had left. We were too late, but because of this gesture of Loot we enjoyed a amazing safari with Prince and his assistent. next day all went for a walk through the bush, and because of my sour back, Loot invited me for a private safari, which I enjoyed very very much, also due to all the stories and explenations of Loot. walking with him, about 200 mtrs from the car, no gun, was exiting. (when you do not want to take risks, you have to stay in bed, were his words) the hospitality from Cilla en Loot and not to forget the whole staff, was outstanding. good food, good place to sleep, It was great.
next time we will stay a few days longer and then I will take a french /english dictionary for Loot. inside joke. |
