About Pumula Game Farm

Pumula (in Zulu means rest or peace) and that is exactly what we would like you to experience on your stay. At Pumula Game Farm we strive to make our Guests feel at home with friendly, excellent service and to experience a true African bushveld atmosphere.

The exclusive lodge is in the bushveld on our game farm set between the beautiful Waterberg Mountains. Situated only 15km outside of Modimolle (Nylstroom), 25km from Bela Bela (Warmbath) and just 2 hours drive from Johannesburg.

Self Catering Accommodation

Pumula Game Farm is very exclusive. It offers accommodation in Modimolle in the the perfect environment to get away from the crowds and connect with loved ones. Our game farm is set between the beautiful Waterberg Mountains, in the heart of the bushveld, 15km outside of Modimolle (Nylstroom) and 25km from Bela-Bela (Warmbaths), just two hours drive from Johannesburg.

The lodge consists of a selection of family unit one-bedroom self catering units. Please see the individual cottage or suite descriptions and photographs below, to assist you with your choice.

On Site Attractions

The 106ha farm consists of Bushveld and savannah, there are Zebra, Blesbuck, Impala, Waterbuck, Nyala, Kudu and smaller game species on the farm. We offer self-guided game drives, guided game drives, walking trails and fishing (bring own rod and tackle) on the property. All guests have the undivided attention of the owners that also live on the farm. So quality friendly service is guaranteed at all times.

Dining

There are two restaurants less than 3km from the lodge. There is also a day spa 1km from the farm. On request, we also offer breakfast and a daily set dinner at an additional charge. Get out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, come, relax and rejuvenate body, mind and spirit. The peaceful bushveld surroundings are what your family needs to bond and connect again.

This luxurious spacious unit has three bedrooms and a loft, two of the bedrooms has Queen-size beds, built in cupboards and have on-suite bathrooms. The other bedroom has a double bed and shares a bathroom with the loft. The loft room has two single beds. All rooms are provided with fine quality linen and bath sheets. For your private use the unit is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen with 5 burner gas stove, microwave, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a dinette and comfortable lounge with TV, DStv with select channels. The unit has a patio with table and chairs and boma style braai area where guests can sit around a bushveld fire.
