my husband and I were driving the Garden Route after a visit with our daughter in Cape Town. We were weary travelers with no reservations. We followed a sign off of the N2 for B & B's and stumbled upon the Pink Lodge. When you walk inside, your first reaction is of serenity. The sound of the water fountain, the tasteful decor, and the hostess Ria, and owner, Nellie greeted us with enthusiasm. You would have thought we were family! We stayed in the White Sands room --which is gorgeous. We loved hearing the Indian Ocean right outside our slider doors.
We feel that when you stay at a personal setting like a B & B, it's all about the hospitality....the people who work there who "make" your stay. The Pink Lodge is all about the hospitality -- the care that is given to you to make sure that you enjoy your stay and are welcomed! The Pink Lodge has it all-- location on the Indian Ocean, gorgeous rooms, bathrooms, and Architectural Digest decor, with hospitality like none other. Can you tell that we loved our stay?!! |

Definitely not 4-Sta standard, the house is in a very poor condition, they just try to correct everything with some color. We left after 1 Day although we wanted to stay for 10 days! Service is friendly but not very interested. |

Wow. What a gorgeous place, what lovely friendly people. From the time we first made enquiries & made the booking, to when we left after our stay, we were in awe of the hospitality, the views!, the facilities and the overwhelming sense of home away from home. We did not only have our suite, we had full use of the garden, lounge and fireplace all with an equally wonderful ambience & ocean view. The very close proximity to the beach made strolling on old legs so much more pleasant. We could not have asked for a better way to spend our 49th wedding anniversary! Thank you to Marge (& Andre) (managers) - all the little extra's did not go unnoticed and were most appreciated. We will be back! Thank you to the owner Nellie for sharing her beautiful home. |

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days and nights at the Pink Lodge on the Beach. Petro & Pieter our hosts welcomed us warmly on arrival and throughout our stay we were made to feel so at home and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was awesome and we will definetly be returning soon, and would like to stay longer.
Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
Kind Regards
Dorothea & Stan Long |

My wife and I went on a holiday driving down the garden route and were only supposed to spend 2 nights at the lodge, but we had such a great time we spent an extra night.
We would recommend the lodge to everybody that wants to have a good holiday and great service. |
