We had a wonderful start and end of out 3-week-trip to the Western Cape in Papyrus-Lodge. Definitely no complaints, everything up to date and very friendly service.
One of the best places to stay in the Cape-Town/False Bay/Stellenbosch area, we think. |

Wir haben auf unserer Reise durch Südafrika in vielen verschiedenen Gästehäuser und Lodges übernachtet. Bei Ihnen hat es uns weitaus am besten gefallen. Wir gratulieren zu den ausserordentlich geschmackvollen und sauberen Zimmern. Die Liebe zum Detail ist uns aufgefallen. Währen den kühleren Nächten im Juni haben wir die Bodenheizung und die gemütliche Atmosphäre im Zimmer ganz besonders geschätzt. Wir müssen sagen, wir waren beeindruckt von Ihrer professionellen Führung des Hauses sowie von Ihrer entgegenkommenden Gastfreundlichkeit. Wir werden Sie gerne weiterempfehlen.

Nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank für die super Zeit bei Euch. Es war wirklich paradiesisch. Am liebsten würden wir diesen Geheimtipp ganz alleine für uns behalten und jedes Jahr wieder kommen, die Ruhe geniessen in unserem romantischen Chalet am See. auf dem Deck die Sonnenuntergänge geniessen, am Morgen ein Bad im See vor dem Frühstück.... übrigens Dein Frühstpück Stefan war genial..... aber wir werden Euch natürlich herzlichst weiterempfehlen. A special BIG thank you for the cake you provided for my aunt's 85th birthday. It came as a wonderful surprise to all of us.
My only regret was that I had to rush off to catch an early flight and could not enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

Hello to all the staff at Papyrus,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for a lovely stay at your lodge earlier this month. Jared and I had a fantastic trip to southern Africa where we enjoyed the stunning scenery, good food, excellent wine and the warmth and friendliness of the people everywhere we went.
Once again thanks for a most enjoyable few days in the wine lands and our thanks go out especially to Stefan for saving the day (and that leg of our trip) by organizing a hire car for us. We managed to fit in all of the visits that we originally had planned to do but didn’t get to enjoy nearly enough wine tasting so we’ll have to make a return trip some day in order to enjoy those!
All the best for now and hope to visit you again some time in the future,
