Dear Yolandi, Mariette and the whole team behind the scenes!
I am completely lost for words when trying to think of an appropriate and fitting way in which to say thank you to everyone for our amazing wedding!
I don’t know where to start with what we are most grateful for! Firstly the fact that all the stress of the day was taken completely and totally off my shoulders and I had absolutely nothing to worry about as I knew my wedding was in the best hands!
On behalf of all our guests I need to extend their appreciation and gratitude for the fantastic service offered to them by the staff at Oxbow. They were all completely blown away by the beautiful serene setting of the venue and no one was ready to leave when the time came! Everyone was so happy with their rooms and enjoyed a very comfortable nights rest!
Damen and I are both very disappointed that we never got to finish our meals! We managed to taste a little bit of everything but didn’t manage to finish anything and I cannot tell you how delicious all the food was! And I was so happy that there was so much of it and none of my guests went hungry. They all raved about the food and said that they have never had such generous helpings nor such amazing food at a wedding! And then the breakfast was also just to die for – I was starving by then naturally and so ate A LOT at breakfast so luckily everyone was catered for more than enough! In a word the food was AMAZING!!!! Our compliments to the chef’s that worked so hard to make all our meals as fantastic as they were!!!
Then I have to compliment the staff that were so incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the course of the evening. They were attentive and quick with service and assisted with anything we needed! Again we received such fantastic compliments about the staff from all our guests!
Yolandi, thank you so much for all of your help and close attention to detail and getting everything we asked for perfectly right! Without you I think I would have crumbled into 1000 little pieces! You made sure everything was perfect and for that we will be forever grateful!
In closing I can safely say that the only complaint I have is that my wedding had to end and we had to leave! I will get married again any day just so that I can do it all again at Oxbow J
Thank you again for making all my guest as happy as they were and our day as special and as perfect as it was! You guys all did such an amazing job and I had everyone jealous that they didn’t have their wedding at Oxbow first J
As soon as I get the photos from the photographer I will send them to you so you can have proof of how amazing everything was!
Also I would like to apologise for being so difficult towards the end of everything, I know I was a very horrible person but please don't take offence I can assure you that everyone had their fair share of my moods :)

What an experience. The Oxbow Champs 2009 was a fantastic day. The organisation was exceptional. The venue, what can I say, absolutely marvelous. The little lakes flowing into each other, the beautiful setting, trees and countryside. About the fishing, excellent, your resident guide was out of this world. Fishing. WOW. Plenty of fish, wide open spaces for casting, clean waters, wheelchair friendly lakes. By the way the lunch was superb. (Congrats to the cooking staff) I will definitely see you guys again soon. |

Once again a very fine and pleasant fly fishing season. We both enjoyed ourselves extremely and believe that Oxbow is one of the best venues available for both relaxed fly fishing and competitions. |
